watching fireworks without a crowd, while sitting on top of the car. we may never do it any other way.
for the 4th of July (which was actually celebrated on the 3rd here in utah) we decided we were going to play it easy and not worry about trying to fight the crowds to see fireworks. So we opted for an 8:00 showing of Toy Story 3 instead. Well the timing was perfect. We got out of the movie just after 10 and from the south parking lot at the university mall we watched the stadium of fire. the kids were just as excited about the fireworks as they would have been if we had sat on the lawn and waited 3 hours for them to start. plus when the show was over we were right on university and got out before the crowds. i think this will become a tradition!
