he's 9 months old!

We had Wesley's Dr's appointment and here are the stats. We went and the Dr. saw how Wesley was growing and asked if he could do certain things...then said how well he thought Wesley was and said let's just look in his ears and throat just to check things out. Come to find out, Wesley had a pretty bad ear infection in one ear...so much for the "doing so well" comment. But I was pretty impressed that despite a ear infection, Wesley hasn't caused too much trouble. He must be a tuff little guy.

Some things about Wesley at 9 mo.
He likes to say "a da a da" (which Nathan believes is Dad)
He LOVES to cruise in his walker...and he can go FAST the girls have learned to watch out for their toes.
He is starting to prefer a bottle over mom, for the most part.
He loves food, and would probably eat all day if we let him. Some of his favorites are peas, kix and licorice (thanks to his dad)
He can't crawl yet but can some how figure out how to get across the room.
He loves taking a bath.
He loves getting to play with his sisters.
He usually sleeps from 8pm till about 3am then up for a little time with mom and then back to sleep until 8 am. (although the last couple weeks have been a little different...maybe because of the ear infection)
He loves to play with his tools and the old cell phones we have as toys, and the tv remotes.
He likes when Daddy puts him to sleep to be rocked, but with mom he just wants to be fed and then layed down in bed - so if he happens to fall asleep while I'm feeding him I sneek in my rocking time then.
He is the cutest little guy I ever did see.
